My favorite tidbit about Sigourney Weaver as Ripley is that she refused to shave for the scene. The director paid $$ to have her bush digitally removed for the movie. 🤣🤣

Linda could bench 85 while weighing 112, which is 75% of her body weight. Hemsworth weighs around 220 in Thor shape, 75% of that is 166. No way he could only bench 166, he could probably bench more than 220. Just no way her numbers are right on that

love this commentary, but Sigourney Weaver as Ripley, will ALWAYS be my favorite baddie! She may not have had muscles, but her character was a baddie in attitude. Props to Linda too, her character is second best for me.

I was onboard until the Reeve slander. He got huge to play superman, look at the screentest where he is all skinny, and he manages ti look like superman in spandex with none of these modern muscle suits

I see all the comments about how Reeves was trained by the Darth Vader person but I also want to add that I thought he was also a believable Superman since Superman was strong to the point of everything being easy and therefore would be hard for him to bulk up

Christopher Reeve did bulk up for the first Superman movie. He gained 30 pounds of muscle and was able to bench press about 350 pounds at one point. It was subsequent movies I think three and four where he wore the foam Superman suit

Reeve was the 80s version of muscular which is basically being larger than most and can say they work out. He never took it seriously.
