13 years strong at k12, my kid thrives and I wouldn't change it for nothing. I get all those ahhha moments. yall host amazing outings and he has friends. So,everyone like blah blah socialization, they offer stuff. You just have to take them. 🥰

My sister did k12 and I remember being so jealous when she got her materials in the mail, they really supply everything!

This sounds amazing! Do they have bilingual versions? I’d love to continue teaching my son Spanish!

K12 was a great experience for me. But my parents said “it’s the easy way”

I get why parents are scared, but our kids need to experience school for many reasons that home life can't provide

Terrible, I had 1 kid in 6th grade doing k12 and she was supposedly in an accelerated program, my other kid was in 3rd grade going to a physical school and they had literally the same homework assignments.

My granddaughter has been enrolled in k12 since 6th grade. She will be graduating in 2026. As a retired educator myself, I have nothing but good things to say about the program. No bullying, no worries about school shootings. And they do have outings for the students. Plus we travel a lot with my granddaughter to expose her to way more than the public school has done.

What do classes look like for special needs students? My son has severe ADHD, ODD, and possibly autism or PDA. He has an IEP and has been in daily SEL small group and resource classes for kindergarten this past year. Are there chances to meet up with local peers in person? I'm researching other options since I really didn't think VPrep was the right fit for him.

is it true that if the parent wants to be the teacher you will fund for the tools to teach them?
