Living in South Korea seems like a nightmare to me tbh from everything I’ve heard, high house prices, extremely competitive and conformist, worst birthrate in the world, extreme expectations for high grades in school, it feels like they take everything to the extreme.

wow..no one wants to live within their means..a modest content life with a happy family great friends..there's too much of a showy display of a certain lifestyle..plastic surgery..unrealistic beauty standards..spending your every waking moment paying for a lifestyle you really can't afford or get to enjoy..too stressful..you'll never really be truly happy with Stuff..😔sad🤦🏽♀️

Everything about their modern culture (and I note, modern) seems so superficial and suffocating. From the incessant cosmetic surgeries to celebrity culture,—everything seems as if all of it is a walking ad. It’s really like an east asian version of the US.
