Your sunscreen and cleanser are equally important. if you don't cleanse properly, you don't have clean canvas for your actives to work and that's how you end up with closed comedones. Also if we are repairing our skin a good formulated SPF is crucial so that you protect what you repair!

As an esthetician I agree with her. Money should be placed on serums and retinol. You can literally get a good cleanser at the drugstore.

I am a licensed aesthetician and I agree! Cetaphil and Vanicream✨ cleanser and moisturizer are amazing and affordable. I always tell my clients I can sell them these products but I prefer they invest in their serums! 🩷
