I respectfully disagree and that’s okay, we’re all entitled to our opinions. But I’m curious, what exactly do you mean by “letting him get away with it”? At the end of the day, filmmaking is storytelling. Are we now deciding which stories a storyteller is allowed to tell? That doesn’t sit right with me.

This is just my 2 cents — if you’re not a single parent and you haven’t reached that last straw moment, it probably won’t hit the same. This movie made me cry because I’ve been there… more than once. I’ve hit that breaking point, and watching it brought all those emotions back…

lol if you didn’t cry that’s okay president general. Also I don’t get what type of movies you expect Tyler Perry to make? About Aliens? This guy makes realistic movies he stretches it sometimes but people do relate ! Also you should never question people’s emotional reactions because you don’t know what triggered them

Completely agree sister. Tyler Perry is a very shady individual. People have been saying for ages that his methods are a little bit weird. He went after the boondocks creator when he made he poked fun at one of his films and he also went after the producers of Atlanta when they did that episode on him as well.
