Three years isn’t that long. If for whatever read you don’t want a check-up you shouldn’t go. Health shouldn’t be a business transaction in order to appease the insurance companies. As a doctor you may feel like yearly check-ups are critical but people have a right to just say I’d prefer not. (FYI I’m from the UK and not the US.)

That’s why I had to leave my pediatrician. I rarely went to the pediatrician because I was away at school even though they knew. I ultimately switched to a big girl doctor and I got in within on a week

They've likely called the patient many many times for annuals and been ignored. Receptionists get yelled st regularly for making those courtesy calls!

I haven’t gone to the doc for 4 years my doc quit on me . I worked 3rd shift . . Mine doctor doesn’t listen to me anyways 🤷🏼♀️

I have my yearly health wellness visit and we did basic bloodwork. I 43yrs old and only spotted tsh normal range. Do we have to request more hormone test or preventative test they may have overlooked on me? Going in a month for my pap/ women’s wellness check

I have gone 70+ years without seeing a primary care physician. I never knew how to go about it. The only doctor I saw more than once was an OB, & that was 39 years ago. . I'm not sure what the point is of having a primary care doc - they just take your time & money, and pass you off to other doctors.

I just stop seeing my primary doctor for over four years the day I decided to stop going to doctors because they’re narcissist with a god complex. I called them and let them know. I will never come back. They asked me a reason why and I told him have cares a scam

This happened to me, but I was coming in… only I just saw the nurse practitioner. Since I never actually saw the doctor, I became a new patient to her and she doesn’t take new patients anymore. They got rid of the nurse, so I had to see a random doctor that was new to her practice.

Luckily for me last time I had a physical with mine was during 2020. then I saw her in 2023 before the 3years for something else but I’m goin in two weeks for a physical. Which I’m dreading cause I don’t like going cause of the can of worms it can open and then the extra costs. which is the main reason I haven’t been to the dr a ton cause insurance may cover it but then after if need surgery your insurance doesn’t cover the bills if miss work for extended time. And I got couple foot ones I’ve already been told I can get surgery on my feet cause they are that bad with what’s going on. And I can’t really afford to miss work

My doctors office called me after 22 months because I asked for a refill and said that I have been taken off as a patient because I hadn’t seen her. Crazy.
