This team was amazing. Their professionalism is apparent through their demur, questions, and counseling she/ her. As a special education teacher, the boy is autistic. His verbal skills are functionally higher. I hope everyone get the help they all deserve. 🙏

y'all the cops are "playing" nice to get as much information/evidence out from the Dad so they can build their case. If they were "mean" to him or aggressive he wouldn't talk to them.

The great thing is that Athena was cooperating with the police, and being a single parent is hard like she said she didn’t have the support. She was trying her best and it seems like she is having a hard time with life. If the story seems out of place it is probably bc she is overwhelmed. And the good part is she ment no harm and tried to walk away from the situation and the child wasn’t hurt.

Dads language is focused on placing blame on the child, " He did, he wouldn't, he didn't". I won't assume or judge dad but I will say that this environment doesn't seem to be the best or safe for the child.

Athena is probably mad that her son is referring to him as "dad" so since Athena already has mental health issues those little things make Athena lash out. probably a decent person but needs help/therapy

The team was especially considerate in the situation. BUT the dad said he wanted an attorney and they sat down for their “chat” Nothing he said would be admissible.
