Reasons for being in those cities are totally different. You’re in New York because you want to prove you’re the best among the best. Best chefs, best models, best attorneys, best bankers, etc. So it’s an intense grind, and you learn what you’re made of really quickly. LA is where people go to pursue their dreams. In order to do that, you have to be able to sit with yourself outside of social expectations. Love both. NYC 5 years. LA 15 years. ☀️> 🏙️

Every food, culture, art, hobby, music genre, film, type of person exists in Los Angeles. You genuinely have to get yourself into a loop to be in the loop. I think that’s a good thing because that means you genuinely have to enjoy that certain thing to even be a part of it.

The people I met in nyc were very insecure and made the city their identity. LA people were more down to earth homebodies. Opposite of what you would think

I agree with LA you have to know what you are looking for and know what you want. Also I used to compare it to drinking unicorn blood. It’s magical and you’ll live forever but it will destroy your soul. Haha
