Designers can really build whatever they can (realistically) imagine, as an mvp/prototype. Then get real devs to build it. It is pretty amazing.

Yes you do need to know how to code. You need to understand computer science for anything beyond a photo app. As a software engineer who WORKS in gen AI, your take is ill informed on what software development even is. Vibe coding is not the future and any SWE with a drop of common sense can tell how messy and dangerous “code” is for anything vibe coded.
