how the hell are banshee and kelpie considered not well known they are some of the most talked about mythical creatures banshee is literally referenced in every supernatural movie that has a woman who is passed on it's literally mentioned every freaking time that oh well they could be a banshee because the wailing woman and a kelpie is literally a water horse from Norse mythology.

I feel like some of these are on a fine line between obscure and well known. Take the Dullahan. Almost everyone and their mother has heard of The Headless Horseman of Sleepy Hollow, but he's never called a Dullahan.

whoever doesn't know these gotta be living under a rock all these are very common in books movies and games me personally I love mythology and mythical creatures I used to spend my time reading about them in a library as a kid but even with my interest I can tell you these are very common

people really into mythologies and cryptids acting like these are common. nah, ive never known anyone to actually call it Dullahan, its always headless horseman. these are just celtic and thats my ancestry so of course i know these.
