My Doberman has been the easiest dog I’ve had … smartest, easiest to train, sweetest.. I didn’t crop his ears so that wasn’t a thing for me thankfully

I agree with all you said! I have 5 Dobermans, my husband has said yes to every one, everyone in the house should be on the same page and responsibilities should be established before deciding to get a new puppy, of any breed

I’ve been learning about Dobermans for a year so far and my fiance things I’m doing too much and don’t need to so much research cause we aren’t getting a Doberman till next year. I’m like no honey I need to fully understand what I’m signing up for a dog is not something that should be bought on a whim. It’ll also be my service dog so I want to be ready ready

The vast majority of people get a backyard bred out of standard genetically washed doberman too and claim them to be “so calm and nice” … thats because your dog genetically sucks 👍🏻

Have you tried those puzzle boards for her yet? I know you said you’ve been “lazy” and although she does need training it would provide her with at least some mental stimulation while you are busy or if you’ve had a long day and just aren’t in the mood to have a sassy pup in your face (it happens lol) I love the video btw ❤️❤️❤️give her belly rubs for me!

Agree 100%. My boyfriend brought a Doberman puppy as a SURPRISE.. and believe me it was a SURPRISE. High maintenance dogs

We are currently in the demon phase lol. Anytime we get fustrated with her, my son reminds me it’s just a phase and it’s going to get better. He researched the breed and always says “this is when people give up on them mom, she’s the best dog” AND she really IS. She loves our whole family and did excellent in training and will protect us in a heartbeat. No regrets. My best source for help is a Doberman rescue that gives us so much advice. Biggest take away, work her, correct her, and give her all the snuggles.

I always tell people when they say they want one to think of the days where you are so tired and add a clingy dog on top of that which needs exercise. They don’t care if you are tired from work, it’s time to play and train.

As an owner of a European working line, I 100% agree! Rain or shine we are training daily. I’ve been down with the flu and still train so he doesn’t turn into a tornado throughout the house. lol
