It was a crash landing and everyone survived. The pilot and one of crew were seriously hurt but they walked back to the airport.

Churchill is ABSOLUTELY unique. I asked a Canadian scientist in America if he had heard of the polar bear prison, he said "No," - followed immediately by, "it's in Churchill isn't it?" 😂 He loved field work there and has pictures of polar bears stalking his group while they were working - the bears felt super stealthy but definitely weren't. He still complains about the polar bear who decimated his experiment and data 🐻❄. Also - do the research stations there still keep working companion huskies to warn of and ward off polar bears?

Agh. July 8 2025, my beautiful, incredibly intelligent 20 yr old daughter in law Savanna May Royes, died in a training pilot incident, midair crash with another pilot. In Steinbach Manitoba. Planes …..unlike cars …safer……but so unforgiving.
