If he could really push bottles through the table he wouldn’t need the cloth. I suspect this is some kind of trick he uses to entertain but he isn’t actually pushing the bottle through the table

Magicians always use some kind of cover a hat, cloth, box, smoke, or in this case, a white tissue paper over the bottle. The trick only works because something is hidden or disguised. If the magic were real enough to truly amaze us, why would it always need to be hidden behind a cloth, a box, or like in this case a piece of white tissue paper?

You form the wrap around the bottle to get the shape, remove bottle (slight of hand/distraction) then tap it under the table as you fake tap the top. Then compress the empty wrap. Very simple.
