@zlcspeaks: 🦵🏽 Knee Replacement Chronicles: Post-Op Realness 🩹 Today was one of those tough healing moments — stitch removal. 😣 The medical team worked carefully to take out the sutures from my surgical incision, but whew… some of them had settled deep beneath the skin. 🎙️ “Getting it… ugh… underneath the skin. Sorry.” Their hands were steady, but the discomfort was real. Painful? Yes. Uncomfortable? Definitely. Necessary? Absolutely. Every pull, every tug, every moment of discomfort — it's all part of the process. Healing isn't always pretty. But I’m grateful for progress, no matter how slow or painful it feels.
