This is my theory. I don't know if people will read it or not. Caine is not a human like Pomni, Jax, Ragatha and all the characters in the story but Caine is just a program to "take care" of all the characters for what reason? Because he knows a lot about the digital circus world. In episode 2, when he was being treated by Zooble, he was "lost" for a while and his world was almost destroyed before Zooble woke him up from his "terror". And I think Caine has been programmed to "NOT BE ANGRY" with any of the characters in this. That's why there are some scenes where Caine seems to be silent for a moment and then he goes back to talking as if nothing happened. In ep2 you can also see that Caine is only "taking care" of them in the circus. Outside the circus is just the character's own business because we can see Pomni falling into the underworld and Caine doesn't help her at all. So Caine is only programmed to take care of the characters in the circus and not outside the circus because maybe it's out of his control to interfere? Idk just my theory. That's all from me. Do you have anything to add about this?

Caine has a unique horror to him that you can only get from AI/robot/computer characters. and that is when they buffer, and you remember that they don't have empathy, they do have an unfathomable amount of knowledge, and they aren't your friend.

Many say Caine is going crazy or evil... But from my psychological point of view, I rather think that Caine is starting to feel frustrated, tired, jealous, displaced, and despised because of the suggestion box. He's truly the character that hurts me the most to see like this... Because you can see that he's trying hard his best ... I feel so bad for him... If I were him, I would have exploded...

My theory is that he’s also someone stuck in there but he’s just figured out how to mess with it, and in theory any of the others could do what he does if they learned how, but he’s says he’s an ai so they won’t try to challenge him

I think Caine’s AI is glitching, causing him to have actual emotions(especially rage). Just look at how he screamed at Zooble, filled with rage, but soon acting like a robot again 😭 terrifying

Random theory: Caines ai is glitching, or in a sense, evolving. He’s becoming more aware, from what weve seen I’m pretty sure Caine was an ai meant to learn to create engaging adventures for humans (likely not something he’s been made aware of) with how much Caines been interacting with humans over the years his ai has likely evolved, he’s grown, in a way, a consciousness. He’s self aware, and likely that has gone unchecked. His software hasn’t been updated allowing this glitch to occur (obviously, due to the fact pomnis confirmed she found the game in an abandoned building) and basically now that he is self aware he’s slowly losing it as he continues to realize the humans aren’t big fans of what he’s up to. This probably sounds confusing but I just wanted to throw this theory out there
