In 2020 I brought a 2015 CLA Mercedes 250 from Carvana. Carvana took my trade in , never completed the paperwork but I didn’t notice until my temporary tags were soon to expire. I called to inquire about the tags and they said that they don’t have any information or documentation stating that I brought a car from them. The only thing that was showing that they paid it off and a car purchase was pending and later canceled. I’ve had the car for about 7 months and I’ve made numerous calls trying to get the tags that I paid for , but instead they emailed me paper tags from Arizona and I live in Maryland. So for about 7 months I never made a payment because Carvana or the finance company had no information or an active account the finance company kept insisting that my trade in car was just paid in full and there’s nothing in the system that shows that I have the car. That went on for about 7 months without making a payment. Finally after 8 months the financial company contacts me demanding the back payments. I’ve reported Carvana to the Maryland DMV about this whole situation. Carvana agreed to pay the back payments due to the paperwork mixup and decided to make all the back payments out of “good faith”

I'm surprised they're still in business, I had heard news reports they were going out of business and were banned from selling anymore vehicles! As the old saying goes "if it sounds too good to be true, it's probably not true!" If they proclaim it to be so simple & easy that should be your first red flag! Buyer beware!! 🛑🚨🚩

Thank you so much for telling your experience with Carvana. About 2 weeks ago, I was in the process of purchasing a Range Rover from Carvana in Orlando FL.. but I had a bad feeling and cancelled the order. Updates if you have any! I’m sorry you’re going through this. 😔

This is what happens when you take the human element out of it is two things you need to deal with people with buying homes and cars when you do things like this this is what you get. This is not the first horror story I heard about Carvana I still don’t know how they’re still in business but forget about . Just deal with online buying a car next time by your house that way let me know how it works out

I spent 18 months with no tag. Three temp tags from 3 states. Currently in a class action suit with them. Good luck. And if it doesn’t get resolved the Robert Cocco law firm is well versed in this.

carvana dropped me a Toyota Camry off. it's not bad but I could've been happier.. it's not what I wanted. at all. it was supposed to be black. it came dark blue. there was supposed to be a sunroof. no sunroof. there's scratches all over the car. and it came with a cracked windshield. they covered it. some guy came to my house from Auto Glass Now.. and he left my wipers up while trying to put my hood up. now there's a huge dent in my hood and I contacted them about it and still nobody's gotten back to me about it.

I’ve bought 3 cars from Carvana back during Covid sold 2 of them back to Carvana for more then what I paid still have 1 car now for 3 years from them and never had 1 problem with car of tags my tags were FedEx overnight to me. Friends have bought from them no problems

That's crazy. I sold a car to Carvana in November, and fortunately, had no issues. They paid off the car and paid me the balance immediately. This does make me hesitant to do business with them again.

I bought a truck from carvana during Covid and it took me 6 months to get it registered! It was a complete nightmare

So what happened to me .no tags for 7mos, never got title and I paid cash...I got an attorney, who took my case w no money, they sued the bond company ,I got money I paid for the car and they paid attorney fees ..get an attorney!
