I hear the snow leopard intro music in the background 🥹 also I really wish they would bring back translucent hardware, or at LEAST color match the macbook air to the iMacs since the clamshell G3 matched some of the iMac G3s back in the day.

I think many are overlooking that this Developer beta is just that. This and the forthcoming public betas will allow Apple to get feedback on the UI and tweak the UX pain points (it looks too transparent right now). I’m certain this will change over the next months

It doesn't look good though, it just doesn't. A good UI should sit in the background, this is the "pick me" of UIs, a distraction from their failure to innovate meaningfully.
