Hmm🤔 now this may be unrelated, but it’s not crazily uncommon for engines to run backwards, like I know two stroke engines run backwards as a reverse action, could be similar? I’m not an engineer lmao

It can also happen in a manual diesel if you stall it going uphill and you let out the clutch in a forward gear time while the engine is not running it can roll start, but where it’s rolling backwards, the engine runs backwards
