I'm a literature teacher and i'm 100% convinces this will be considered classic literature in a few decades. It's only considered "young adult/teens lit" bc Katniss is so young, meanwhile her being young is part of why it's actually not a young adult book...

Just finished my 6th reading of the series and the first time after finishing my honours English lit degree. I can confirm it is still one of the best pieces of literature I have ever read. No one does clean, concise, world building prose like Suzanne 🙏🏻
