This would cause Kahne to spin out and come up infront of field. Having nowhere to go, Greg Biffle and Mark Martin would hit Kahne and send him airborne. Due to all the smoke and the track being blocked, more drivers would be involved including Martin Truex Jr. Jeff Gordon, Marcos Ambrose, David Ragan, Elliott Sadler, Ryan Newman, and David Stremme.
