It is the most successful, worst crossover. I’m sorry but in no way has the set been healthy for magic right now. People are spending so much money for the product and people keep raising the prices. Stores never have anything in stock. Some local game store even have to enforce pack purchase limits just so other people can buy the cards. Giving me major pokemon vibs right now

The issue I have is that the Collector's Edition packs make it inaccessible to get some of those cool cards that are only in those packs. In my area, Collector's Edition boxes were going for nearly 800 a piece. Now the normal product wasn't an issue and I got some cool stuff out of it.

I don’t quite get the popularity since ff is extremely niche over here, I’ve worked in the games industry for 20 years with a bit over 1000 people and there were maybe 2 ff fans

as someone who quit mtg years ago and is a huge final fantasy fan, this is actually getting me back into magic. it is expensive for me rn and I only have one of the decks (Terra) but over time I'll get the others because I love ff and I'm more than happy to get back into magic :3

magic has completely lost its identity... but at least people will still buy whatever product they push out for whatever price they ask so there is no reason they have to care about the health and accessibility of the game

It's just hard to find reasonably priced product sadly because it's Final Fantasy. It's a good set though, I'm excited to make equipment decks finally work!

standard legal set that’s almost impossible to actually get your hands on for MSRP 🫠🫠 even LGS’s have the starter bundles marked up 100% , never seen them markup sealed product like that based on secondary market until at least a year after release

The quality of the cards has been fine and I actually like how well it fits with Magic. The ability to get anything has been absurd though. The worst quality crossover for me has to be Hatsune Miku or Ghost Busters

If it’s the worst set don’t buy it. Let wizards make their money off of the people who want to pay the crazy prices and buy the singles you might want or need. It didn’t revolutionize the competition world nor did it change casual formats. It’s a great set and if you don’t like it don’t buy it

the cards themselves are great but as a lifelong final fantasy fan AND pokemon fan.. why cant my hobbies just be actually affordable :( i cant afford any of my favorite ff mtg singles...

The cards are all really good and I hate it. No non UB set ever gets this consistently good cards across the board. I don’t mind the crossover but I’m sick of them shoving all these insanely good cards into UB sets that are significantly more expensive than normal sets.
