yess!! I am childree*not by choice, nor effort lol* there was a couple eating out on mothers day, very clear it was 1st mothersday with baby..and baby was NOTTTTT HAVING IT.. She was maybe 5 months and inconsolable.. I knew up at the register for you to sign your ticket, they had this really cool fidget pen that you twirled around, it made little clicking noises and idk.. hard to describe what it did.. but it was brightly colored. I walked over, and played with it for a min to see if it would get her attention, they were sitting at table next to us... it did so I asked mom if she would like to hold onto it until they left and she seemed so relieved that SOMETHING appeared her wee one. I felt so bad for mom and dad, they were trying.. and I know they were so stressed out, baby was still happily watching mom and dad take turns playing with the pen for her when we left. lol I let the owner upfront know where the pen was lol they didnt care

My daughter was 18mo on our last flight and she screamed the entire 3 hour flight and when we got off a LADY said to me “finally you got that baby to shut up” 🙃 as if I wasn’t fighting for my life the entire flight

I flew solo with my 1.5 year old niece one time & for our final flight of the day she had an epic meltdown during boarding. She was overstimulated & tired because she missed her nap & was now past her bedtime, which none of that is her fault. The guy across the aisle from us was shooting judgy looks & heavily sighing to the point that the 2 women sitting behind us & a flight attendant took notice. The women tried to engage with my niece & then said to me (loudly enough for the guy to hear) “She is just the sweetest, dont worry about her, she is just as allowed to make noise as every other human sitting in this plane is too” and then the flight attendant chimed in & said “you got that right, everyone on this plane is entitled to fly no matter their age, she’s just fine.” That shut him down 😏And it wasn’t like I wasn’t trying to calm her, I was trying everything & was on the verge of tears myself. I just knew that once the door closed and everyone settled in she would do the same & sure enough that’s exactly the case, door closed, not a peep from her the entire flight
