I would tell her wow you were really asking me if we can babysit your brother's kid oh my first Father's Day with my kid but yeah on your mother's Day we spent it alone. I would say fine you can watch your brother's kid if you want and I'll take our kid and go spend Father's Day alone celebrating

NTA 100%. OP deserves to have a Father’s Day just him, his girlfriend and the baby. Period. What’s good for the goose is good for the gander. They can pay somebody else to babysit and the world is not going to end. Why do they act like this is an end all be all?
