Obviously a very talented guy. But some nasality does help stabilize resonance. What you were demonstrating wasn’t really “just” nasality. It was a raised larynx, wide embouchere and a ton of pharyngeal narrowing. Most of what we heard was not nasality. I’d love to see you demonstrate the same note with all factors the same in the before and after, except for actual nasality brought on by lowering the velum.
