Static stretches (like holding a pose) are great for cool-downs, but they don’t prepare your muscles for movement. Dynamic stretches, on the other hand, activate your muscles, improve your range of motion, and reduce the risk of injury. Here’s my go-to dynamic warm-up routine ( what , how & why ) ⬇️ 30-45sec for each exercise: 🔄 Hip rotations – Loosens up your hip joints and improves flexibility 🏃 High knees – Engages your hip flexors, core, and quads for better running form. 🍑 Butt kicks – Activates your hamstrings and preps them for explosive movements. 🚪 Open gates – Improves hip mobility and reduces stiffness in the inner thighs. 🦵Hamstring scoops – Lengthens and warms up your hamstrings for better stride efficiency 🙆♂️ Bent-over glute kickbacks – Activates your glutes and enhances power and stability. 💥 Pogo jumps – Works your calves, ankles, and Achilles tendons to build elasticity and prep for lower-leg impact. 🏃♀️ A-Skips- Activates your hip flexors, quads, and calves while improving coordination and stride efficiency.
