As a optemetric technician, that is called an ulcer. It’s bacteria eating away at your tissue. Never sleep in your contacts, unless they are approved for it. Also, the dye is fluorescein. It coats your eye and pools in areas that are dry or where there is some form of abrasion/ulcer.

I got an ulcer in my eye from sleeping in my contacts for an extended period of time😬 it wasn’t fun. Highly don’t recommend leaving them in!!

ahah i do the numb drops and the dye every 7 weeks to get INJECTION in my eyes so i dont turn blind(Macular Edema).Not fun at all! U need to take Care of your eyes!!
