Typical avoidant behavior. Usually latches on to the anxious lover girls. They’re attracted to one another like a moth to a flame. Pummels their confidence and sends their nervous system into overdrive. You betray yourself trying to love someone who’s not emotionally available. That’s all dismissive avoidants are is emotionally unavailable people.

I want to make space for the fact that he is learning, but this interview was very frustrating to listen to. Especially hearing that he has exclusively dated queer women for years. Not only because he was deceptive, which he admits to, but because there is a benefit to dating queer women who are more accepting of men for exactly who they are without projecting masculinity onto them. It feels a bit predatory. I hope he does hold himself accountable, as well as his future partners. I’m looking forward to seeing the actions of his growth as a fan.
