Cirrus Pilots can be scary. Every Cirrus driver I’ve flown with, whether doing an IPC or flight review, struggles when the autopilot fails. They’re great system managers but when the they’re lost when they have to hand fly, especially in IMC. I love your content. Please be safe.

I’m not a pilot but it would seem to me that having all those buttons and gauges are better because if one goes out you still have all the others, but if your 14” touch screen goes out you have nothing.

The G7 is very intuitive. When I first learned it, it was overwhelming. I did all my instrument training in the G7 and couldn’t imagine going back now. Picked up mine in March and it’s been great.

I have an 8000 edition which is one of Cirrus’ better paint schemes in my opinion. My dream custom paint would be Borealis with the black and silver like the 8000. I think even the guys would like it.
