@mamanowwhat: Time to trim the lavender! Every June we trim our lavender down and by late August we have more blooms! I have please ask what we do with the lavender and here are a few things… 🪻Dry it and use it in cute vases or mason jars 🪻Make sugar or salt scrubs 🪻 Toss a few sprigs in your bath for a relaxing soak 🪻Mix it into homemade bath salts or body oil 🪻 Use it to make tea (just a little goes a long way!) 🪻 Infuse it into honey or sugar for something fancy 🪻 Bake it into cookies or scones 🪻 Make a lavender lemonade or add it to drinks 🪻 Tuck dried pieces into your drawers to make them smell good 🪻 Use it in DIY candles or spray for your sheets 🪻 Bundle it and give it as a gift 🪻 Scatter it around the garden to help keep bugs away 🪻 Use dried sprigs in fire starters to make your campfire smell amazing #trimminglavender #lavender #backyardlavendergarden #backyardgarden #inmygarden

Any tips for lavender that’s been neglected and doesn’t grow back? Or do we need to rip it out and start again? I’m so sad it’s in the gardens at work and we have a new gardener who has neglected it by not trimming it like this and just leaving it 😭😭😭
