people think "Venom fights spidey = bad guy" the only reason Venom hates Spider-man is because Pete rejected him, and even then Venom essentially forgave him later on

Live action Venom was literally comic accurate and better than the Insomniac version we got. He was nothing more than an evil alien in that game with no personality

The Venom movies are an insult to the character, Venom isn’t a Spider-Man punisher, it’s Eddie struggling in life by losing everything in life and it keep getting worse, so worst that his only option is expecting the symbiote to change something while the symbiote is mostly evil trying to be good. That’s why Eddie’s worst enemy is Carnage a consequence to the symbiote that is a broken mirror to Venom, not the bond between 2 beings trying to be good but 1unique being that his pure evil for the sake of being evil. Venom’s story is the story of a depressed looser blessed by the dark with only a mere touch of hope, not funny guy that keep eating bad peoples with nothing bad happening.

as much as i love the Lethal Protector aspect of the character, sometimes its fun to watch Venom be a bad guy just because he can. because no one, for the most part, can really stop him. especially if he’s being petty about it too

but I really liked the 90s spiderman venom who is evil. yes at some point he becomes good maybe but I wanna see a full on evil venom in the MCU and then maybe later he can become an anti-hero.

Venom literally gets the traits of his hosts so if he bonds with bad guys venom will become a bad guy but if it's a good guy then he's a good guy 😭

I feel like bad guy symbiotes are usually experiments or from another planet. Ik they are from klyntar but like symbiotes are all over I’m pretty sure

The thing is every adaptation feels the need to have Venom as a Villain before doing a redemption arc but most don't last long enough to actually DO that redemption arc like look at Spectacular Spider Man the plans for later seasons was to have a Venom redemption arc but it was never shown as the show got cancelled

It depends where you see him. He’s often portrayed as a bad guy when he crosses into other peoples books, which I think a lot of people get their views of him from too. As well as in the cartoons.
