The game should have just never been made for casuals. You have people complain and they ruin there own game and then in turn ruin competitive. The game is unique and would survive without catering to casuals. Supports ults and healing should have never been buffed, damage, sure but healing triple support infinite survival is horrible. Flyers are just so annoying especially with triple heal. I dont have an issue with flyer but when the flyers are like heal botted. And Im just getting nuked by Ironman and storm while also getting abused by the enemies tank since my tank is dead cause he cant do anything.

pvp games are a hard balancing act because losing feels worse than winning feels good. casual play requires low stakes, but no one wants to feel like they're bad at the game. Low difficulty characters being higher power tends to be the most common solution which is fun until people have to play against it.

Making the game free is the problem, sure that allows more people to play and queue times are quicker. But that’s another problem. Every Joe has the ability to download the game when it’s free, with a pay wall it discourages some to play or buy . If you pay for somthing you are more inclined to value it to a greater degree.

There honestly is no “meta”.It’s just people not wanting to use the recourses the game gives them.Characters who could have been beatable since the game came out,because all you have to do is SHOOT THEM,but what’s that?You can’t?Then just PING them and call it a day.

Just a random question, if they made a game that give you ranks but when you lose you lose significantly less that you gain, is that consider casual competitive?????? (Also let’s pretend there’s no upper limit to the ranks so let say if the max rank is Radiant you can go higher like Radiant II Radiant IX. )

The solution is to look up sent me because i was in a match and had 3 hitscans and none of them wanted too shoot at the IM or ultron. 1 of them even told me that its just easier to ignore them and just shoot the tank...

ima be honest i cant aim. my aim is really bad even if I use hit scan characters, I still have a very hard time aiming. So that's why I use melee characters mainly tank. 😭✌️

really simple way to fix the issue, characters have different movesets based on casual vs comp. any changes a comp player whines about adding only effects competitive, while casual remains unchanged unless the majority of casual players agree on any changes proposed
