My mom was a single mom. We hit really hard times when I was little. She made a nickel too much for snap, literally. Went to a food bank a few times. She often skipped dinner. We had tater tots for dinner for a few weeks straight once. I see you, mom! You’re doing great! Virtual hugs! 🥰

Omg! I must be a horrible mother but that’s a lot of work for dinner after a long day of work at the office. I feed my kids the easiest and fastest meals for dinner. Pasta, Mac and cheese, nuggets and fries and quesadillas. I don’t give them sides or fruits for dinner. They can get it on their own, drink or eat a yogurt of they are hungry. You’re doing amazing!!!!

Do you ever have your 15 yo help you? I started having mine plan one meal per week, and she makes that! We pick out the ingredients at the store. It is sooo nice to have a night off from cooking! Just a thought. 💕
