in canada I had to get my blood done before drinking it and sit without walking around for 30 minutes or so, than get blood work done again right after. never aloud to take it at home. what a difference.

In Australia we have to fast over night get a blood test then drink the drink at the lab place wait an hour have another blood test wait another hour have another blood test it sucks so bad 😱

In Australia we have to drink ours at the blood draw lab. We also have to fast overnight before it. Imagine drinking that on an empty stomach and then having to wait an hour.

I have to drink mine at the lab after a 1st blood draw. and then I have to wait an hr and blood draw again after an hr then again at 2 hrs and again at 3 hrs... (I had gestational diabetes once sooo I have the long tests)

during my one and only pregnancy many years ago(30) I failed the one hour glucose tolerance test and had to do the 3 hour one the following week. luck me got to do it twice. I passed the 3 hour one so I didn't have gestational diabetes.

I had to do the 3 hour test too and unfortunately I had gestational diabetes but it was absolutely manageable, injecting insulin isn’t great and staying away from sugar and carbs sucks but you do what you have to for your baby ❤️good luck

My doctor was part of a study that showed a regular size 3 Muskateers candy bar had the same sugar content and gave accurate results. It was delish….and no diabetes

In Portugal, we have to do this test on an empty stomach. We start by having blood drawn first, then we drink the liquid (it tastes better when cold), one hour later we have blood drawn again, and another hour later we have blood drawn once more.

In Canada, you spend the day at the hospital in the blood lab.. you fast the night before. And if you test close, you’ll do it again

Fee :
In Germany you first take the small test. You can eat in the morning (no sugar) and then drink a huge glass of this sugary stuff at the doctors. Afterwards you have to wait an hour, where you’re not allowed to eat or drink. They take your blood afterwards and call you when it’s positive.

The uk do have it, just differently. We have to go to the hospital have bloods, drink and wait around an hour or two and then more bloods and can go home, I don’t think we eat before either
