The BMW S63B44 is a high-performance 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine developed by BMW M GmbH. It is the M-division’s version of the N63, BMW’s first production turbocharged V8. The S63 was introduced in 2009 and has powered several high-performance M models since. The S63 is based on the N63 engine architecture but significantly upgraded for M applications.
