Silkens are not borzoi/whippet mixes, they are their very own distinct breed that was created in the US in the 80s. Every silken Windhound is DNA tested and the info put into a database. So by mixing a borzoi and whippet you do not get a silken windhound, their lineage goes way back. Truly the best breed ❤️
