Guys I like cannon Jason to an extent but my boys writing gotten worse and worse over the years 😭 UTRH, lost days, task force z, that one issue of green arrow and dark trinity were all good but apart from that his writing has been dogsht and yea maybe I ignore some of his cannon appearances😭🙏

I don't really have a place to say anything since I am kinda part of that community that doesn't engage with the source material (I try the best I can 😭). But even so I still understand that Jason Todd is an extremely flawed character. And I will say I do make Tumblr posts yes, but my content is more domestic and doesn't always have Jason as the focal point. And I do try my best to not share fannon information especially to new people and let them explore the characters themselves.

LITERALLY like I love fanon Jason but recently I’ve been interacting with a lot of people who ONLY know fanon and try and fight me on things that actually happen in comics. Like at least read the characters Wikipedia page before trying to correct me on a character you only know through fanfiction

hey I'm confused what " idea" do people have about Jason and what fanfiction have they made😭 I personally like Jason because of his flaws, he's not perfect but you can stillsympathize with him, I also like him because of his rebellious, grunge,tactical aesthetic and him being ruthless( hope that doesn't make me one of the fans you're talking about 😂)

i like jason todd bc back when his character was first created, the man who created him hated the idea of jason todd so he made his character ‘unlikeable’. ppl back then wanted jason todd gone bc his character was seen as ‘gay’, ‘girly’, ‘crybaby’ and overall just not likeable to majority of the comic readers. when ppl voted for jason to come back it only happened bc it was a new era and suddenly jason todd’s character was actually really likeable. all in all, i think his character is so much deeper then what ppl realise
