I have a friend that is a rainbow baby and she hated it. She felt that she was a replacement baby because all she heard about how sad her mom was to have lost her brother. Please be careful when the new baby comes to let her know just how much she was wanted and how she does not replace Leo

After my loss with our first and now being pregnant again, I wrote on a piece of paper "Nothing is guaranteed, but everything is POSSIBLE" and stuck it on my wall as a daily reminder for me ❤️

Pregnancy after loss is so completely nerve wracking. I felt like a weight was on me the entire time, I could finally breathe when I heard his first cry. I was excited beyond belief but that fear is still there and valid !!

Alex it’s ok, you don’t need to be excited about the pregnancy, you will be excited to have her your whole love. There is no pressure to feel a certain way. It’s doesn’t mean you don’t love her.

You say everything I said when I was pregnant with my rainbow. I lost a daughter. She lived 12 hours. We got pregnant a few months after she passed. I was such a mess during that pregnancy. I wanted to be excited but every pain scared me. Today, my rainbow is 8 yrs old. You’re not alone

People saying you never stop worrying are wrong. There are always moments where you can finally breathe and gather yourself and then prepare yourself to worry all over again for the next worrisome moment. It’s pockets of relief and worry.
