no matter how I see it i still can't accept it. i don't believe its the word "obey" that's used. I will not obey a man, the responsabilities he have almost all women have it by now and we are not respected for it. i think obeying a man no matter how good he is will only fuel his ego and he will use it against you.

It is not true. In the Quran, control is for the person who earns and supports the family. If it is the woman who does the support, then she is the boss. The verse is clear and doesn't use the word Zakar (Male), but the word (rajool) means any person

What makes a man good is his ability to carry responsibility and lead his own life with discipline. How can he do so if he has no responsibility? This is why Allah swt gave him that role, to make him good and you happy so you can therefore carry out your responsibilities as the woman of the house. A man can only be good if given direct commands from his creator & he follows them in his life. So let the man do his part and you can trust that he is good. if he can’t do his part then that is directly linked to his spirituality and where he is with Allah swt.
