another good point to add on is: why would you not get your information from a variety of sources, especially (but not exclusively) when it goes to investing and finance? Not everyone starts from the same spot or with the same resources, and all come with individual biases (said objectively), so why not get data from people who are in/came from similar places as you, people who started off in a worse position but succeeded, AND people who started (and continue to be) in a better place who can teach you aspirationally and provide info that may not be burdened with the same fear of scarcity. I pretty much aggregate all types of information I ingest in life.
