I have done 3 weddings and never again! I had a contract in place which required the bride to give me a list of the order of the people that were going to do their hair .. NO ONE wanted to start first! Another one was i didnt get an address to where i was going til day of. Lastly i did the brides hair after she decided she was going to get 6 inches cut off her hair and when i left her makeup artist friend took it apart and changed it. 🙄 People are inconsiderate of your time but if roles were reversed and your were the one late, you are unprofessional

This happened to me once. I quit doing weddings because I got tired of irresponsible people. My ocd, adhd, ptsd and Aspergers can’t handle this type of situations. I was livid mad because they were 1 hour and 30 minutes late. I had to do 6 hair and makeup looks all on my own then the Godmother was rushing me because they needed to be ready by 3pm when rhey freaking answer their phone at 8 am instead of 6:30 like it was stated before. After that day I started doing contracts with rules, extra charges etc but people kept doing it so I quit. 😂 I cannnnnnnttttt!

It’s in my contract that I go to the scheduled end time regardless of if they are late or come with wet hair, ect. No refunds are given for the bridal parties negligence. The bride is my main concern always.

I think it’s hard for photographers to know without communication. They usually arrive after MUA so they have no idea what went on, but I understand you can’t rush it. As a photographer, you have to just get what you can & have a contract in place if vendors or the bride is running late.

Sends me into a rage. I’m usually in hotel setups. So how did I manage to wake up and get ready and drive and unload and be set up on time, but they can’t roll out of bed and walk down the hall to the brides room.

30 minute grace period in the contract (everyone signs that is getting service done), hair should be washed and dry prior to service(no you can’t use my equipment), … or I leave. I’m not waiting for you, have other appointments. Respect peoples time … it’s not “ I hired you for the day.” No time management is my biggest pet peeve.
