This is authoritarianism wrapped in a flag, justified in the name of patriotism and religion. For now, you’re relatively safe if you’re wyt, male, and Christian. Once they’ve diminished the power of everyone who doesn’t fit that mold, they’ll begin turning on Christians whose beliefs don’t align with their own dogma. § History shows us this pattern: authoritarian movements begin by targeting easily scapegoated groups, but eventually demand total ideological conformity—even from those who initially supported them. This pattern is seen in Nazi Germany, where after purging Jews, Roma, and others, Hitler targeted dissenting Christians, socialists, and even factions within the Nazi party (e.g., the Night of the Long Knives). Similarly, authoritarian regimes throughout history-Stalinist USSR, Francoist Spain, Pinochet’s Chile) have moved from targeting outsiders to silencing internal dissent—even within their original support base.

ok. Personal conspiracy time. Let me cook for a minute... Both parties are in on it. One let's massive amounts of people in and hands them massive amounts of free hands outs. Public gets mad and votes other side in. Other side kicks them out. Both parties own major shares in the private companies that get the no bid contracts to do the job. Both sides personally make millions off the tax payer fixing a problem they caused on purpose to make money.
