Entonces por qué se roban las contraseñas todo el tiempo hay filtraciónes de bases de datos con correo y claves, será qué al propio las empresas las guardan en texto plano o quieren qué las personas hagan nuevas para capturar las nuevas claves

no es tan fácil, eso solo pasa con pass débiles, generar una Rainbow table donde por ejemplo estén todas las combinaciones de pass de todos los imprimibles y de 20 caracteres sería inmensa y crearla llevaría muuuuuuucho tiempo, tendrías que usar muuuuuchos PCS que generarán trocitos y luego juntarlos y aún así se tardaría muchos años

Por eso yo me pasé a SHA512 y SHA384 y más recientemente a AES y genero una salida de longitud variable completamente distinta en cada llamado, para una misma entrada.

pues se supone que cada Hash se genera a partir de una key, sin esa key no habria forma de descifrar un Hash, según veo lo haces de forma generica sin partir de una key ya creada.

Con razón. hace poco en un programa para la uni era de roles y olvide la contraseña de uno de los roles . modifique la db poniendo la contraseña encriptada en el campo que requería pero igual no me funcionaba kajajajajaj
