TO ME she's trying to explain the problem is not the money.... being given money is not a problem. The problem is the lack of accountability in men who target women generaly (gbv) especially using money. Even a Mtho can be a threat. Will falling for him be seen as naivety ?👀

Ladies need to understand that its not safe out there period. Dont let freedom of expression make you think u can have a converstaion with an abuser, killer or a grapist about Accountability. Just dont let yr Guard down easily without background checks cause you saw a black card o whatever the case maybe. Life is a series of choices, 1 bad choice/mistake may cause a lifetime trauma or hurt yr family n friends forever. The ladies really said it all well and they are very right.it is engraved in us that we will grow up to have a Prince Charming who’s gonna seeep you off your feet and take care of you in all ways. So that’s why men use that against us. You can’t blame women for falling for that because it is in our being. Yes you are right Mtho we should have our guards up at this day and age but you can’t blame women only have your guard up AFTER you have experienced certain things personally. A girl who’s never been physically abused won’t be able to see the signs yet she will be told “you should’ve seen it coming”. Same with getting money from a guy. If it’s something you are used to and it has always worked out fine, you can’t now blame me once I get with a new guy who uses money to lure me or to abuse me or whatever the case might be.

This conversation was specifically about women taking money from strangers and how that is the easiest sign to see that this man might be hiding a lot and clouding your judgement with money. We know the stats on GBV but that is more of an incentive to not accept things from strangers and then blame that on being raised as princesses
