I've simply plugged my PC into a smart plug and changed the bios to "restore after power loss". also boots up my PC, after the plug gets turned on. also stops my PC from drawing power while turned off

just an fiy, don't do these kinds of things on computers inside lans that have some older/misconfigured printers, or older computers running newer oses as they are likely to not be fully conpatible with the power state it's supposed to go in

WOL "magic" packets are no magic at all, as they travel completely unencrypted in the network. That being said, given your adapter is exposed to the Internet via NAT is like placing a Welcome mat at your PC's doorstep for every malicious hacker out there. Therefore, I suggest you completely avoid the use of WOL. 🫤

WOL is notorious for not being reliable. It might not work on your system even if you follow all of these steps. Too many dependencies.

man kann sich auch so eine kleine Platine auf aliexpress inklusive Fernbedienung holen und die Platine ist im WLAN und dann kannst du auch über Alexa oder Google oder sonst welcher sprachassistenten den PC starten oder du drückst einfach auf die Fernbedienung oder auch App im Handy ist natürlich auch dabei funktioniert eigentlich am besten und du kannst den PC auch wieder runterfahren
