I did and no one believed me growing up. So as an adult when it happened… I told people I trusted who helped me leave.. but never reported it. I had my second child. He physically, mentally, emotionally and financially abused me after he sa ed me daily

he touched me multiple times. he ruined my life. I moved multiple schools. i dropped out. had to get my GED. posted me everywhere. started stalking me I had to move. had to deal w the friends I did tell that I was an attention seeker had half my family drop me bc they know his mother. have no friends now. and still never told any authorities after he ruined MY life.

I didn’t want to report it because I felt ashamed, and I didn’t want my parents to think it was their fault, but I now reported it, and he is now put away. To all the girls who did not come forward, you most definitely should! If you don’t put away who did it to you, then they will keep going around and doing it to more and more people, affecting their lives forever. So, it’s best to report, not just for yourself, but to protect other girls.
