I just had this conversation with someone 20 mins ago, it’s honestly so disappointing how no one pays attention to a potential spouse’s akhlaq and his/her relationship with Allah anymore. It always comes as an afterthought for many, when it’s already too late subhanallah… may allah grant us pious spouses and make us pious for our spouses inshallah

I agree but what do you advise for someone whose family is from a higher tax bracket? If I grew up with a certain quality of life, it doesn’t make sense for me to settle below that. Yes, character is important, but his wealth should also be able to uphold my current quality of life

Totally agree Deen and manners comes first then everything is secondary and could be changed up or down Every sister should know that money won't heal you if you were hart broken and will not stand on your back if you were on you lowest so choose right sisters May Allah SWT gives us righteous spouses,ameen.
