you might wanna revisit this, especially as someone autistic. many autistic ppl, especially women, have a poor ability to feel their body cues regardless. it's not generally insulin yadda yadda. also as autistic ppl we are predisposed to EDs so recommending fasting of any kind is not cool.

Alternate Day Dirty Fasting You eat one day, you fast the next. But because it's a dirty fast, you can eat some small things like coffee w cream, low cal drinks, and small snacks. Google is free people

Fasting for women is much different. We shouldn't do it during certain times and need to be aware of our hormones. Also, this is not practical for everyone. Especially those who take medication daily that you have to take with food. Everyone is different and not everyone's body works the same way or has the same needs. WEIGHT LOSS ADVICE IS NOT ONE SIZE FITS ALL. Please remember that yall.

On my dirty fasting days I have what I call “zero calorie snacks.” Example: slices of cucumber topped with a slices of spicy banana peppers and a dollop of brown mustard. Super crunchy and flavorful with basically no cals.

I went to a doctor SPECIFICALLY about my weight to try to figure out how to control my weight (gain a lot of weight this past year). I figured we'd have a talk about nutrition, hormones,exercise, ect...this lady came in and asked " So what medication are you looking to start?" Ummm none! I was seriously disappointed.

I’ve been doing an alternate day fast since mid April, and switched to a 36/12 fast in May. I’ve dropped 40lbs so far since the beginning of the year. Also feel much better overall.
