This only applies to shitty houses that are falling apart and overpriced, my parents bought a house in one of the nicest places In Florida about 12 years ago for a bit over 200k and now it’s worth 500k and they’ve spent less than 20k in 12 years on maintenance so I’d say it’s been a great investment
