Morgana had such a powerful and valid villain arch. She had to suffer at Uther and Arthur’s side, knowing that innocent sorcers and wizards were being hunted and having to hide who she really was, because if Uther was to find out, he would have her executed. Then she has to find out, as she’s dying, that Uther is her biological father, and that he was too ashamed to have his first born be a daughter, so by continuing his monarchy, he has a son using sorcery, killing his wife. The rightful heir to the Camelot throne is her and she has to watch her brother, who still outlaws magic, become King. Also, Uther and Arthur both outlaw magic, and hunt those who practice it, yet when it comes to saving someone they love and care about, they use magic for their own purposes. That, in itself, would make anyone frustrated. To make things worse, she gets captured and locked in a dark dungeon for 2 years.
