I just rewatched season 2 & I couldn’t believe that I forgot when Joanna said there was a rumor that Herman “was gay,” which was true. I think this is the reason why she’s holding on to Todd bc she needs what he represents, but not necessarily what he IS. She just needs this image for her own image. She called him “fake & a coward,” but is still intimate? What does that say of her as a woman? Either she needs a storyline or she needs a man - any man. And she’s done that before with Herman. Were we supposed to believe she & Herman were hot & heavy? That’s why I don’t believe she’s intimate with Todd now.
